The enumeration of lattice paths in various configurations, inherently linked to combinatorial statistics, is a captivating realm within combinatorics, renowned for its elegance. Similarly, the exploration of special counting sequences has long held a distinguished position in contemporary combinatorics. In this talk, we will briefly introduce an upcoming monograph on this topic, which aims to deepen readers’ understanding of lattice path combinatorics, explore key types of special sequences, elucidate their interconnections, and provide the author's interpretation of the combinatorial spirit.

宋春伟,北京大学金沙集团1862cc橙色教授、博士生导师、北京大学教代会执委会副主任。十二届、十三届中国数学会理事,十二届北京数学会秘书长。《Advances and Applications in Discrete Mathematics》、《Enumerative Combinatorics and Applications》、《Frontiers of Mathematics》编委。研究领域为Enumerative Combinatorics & Graph Theory,研究工作发表在Proc. Amer. Math. Soc., Proc. Indian Acad. Sci., Rocky Mountain J. Math., Ars Math. Contemp., Discrete Mathematics, Discrete Appl. Math., Electron. J. Combin., Graphs Combin., Annals of Combinatorics等,著有《组合数学》(与人合著)、《数学天书的证明》(与人合译)、《Combinatorics: Art and Philosophy》、《Lattice Path Combinatorics and Special Counting Sequences》等。
